Lok Yan was ditched by her fianc� on their wedding day. Thereafter she started to work her way up to become a wedding planner, gaining fame planning weddings for many acclaimed celebrities. One night, in a bar, she meets a young attorney, Fung, and they spend a passionate night together in a hotel - with no plans of ever seeing each other again. Fate, however, brings them together again at a wedding. Their one night stand now becomes a debt dispute since Fung's boss owes Yan's company for 30 weddings. When Fung's boss runs away, Fung is left to clear the debt and so starts working for Yan.

Maddox confides to Ryan that Bannock\'s judicial system is weak and corrupt, and while he\'s doubtful that anyone he brings back will suffer more than the price of a bribe, he will not be deterred from the unrelenting pursuit of his duty. Initially Bronson appears willing to make concessions, but when his oldest friend Harvey Stenbaugh is killed after deliberately picking a fight with Maddox, Bronson digs in his heels with the rest of the town to resist the relentless lawman.$
