"Tomasz Wasilewski�s debut feature film focuses on Ewa (Katarzyna Herman), a middle aged woman on the run from her troubling, yet never fully revealed life circumstances. As her struggle to survive on her own grows increasingly desperate, she begins to arrange intimate encounters through the internet under the false name of Edyta, drugging the interested parties instead in order to secure what she needs: shelter, a shower, food and money. Her tactics are successful until she encounters Patryk (Tomasz Tyndyk), a younger man with his own, ambiguous problems. As the connection between them grows stronger, however, so does Ewa�s need to confront the life that she has left behind; a subtle, but powerful exploration of the complex nature of human relationships."
