Father Knows Best: The Andersons are short of money. Jim and Margaret have a family meeting to explain the situation to the children. Later that day Jim sees an extraordinary sale on a mink coat. He can not resist getting the coat for Margaret. The gift does not get the desired effect. Margaret loves the coat but how are they going to explain being short of money when she just got a mink coat.
