The Great Fire Season 1 Episode 1

The Great Fire: It is 1666 and Thomas Farriner is the Kingï¿½s baker and he supplies bread and biscuit for the Navy. He works with his daughters Mary and Hannah and sister-in-law, Sarah Farriner, in his Pudding Lane bakery. Thomas leaves with a delivery and after he shows up at the Navy yards, it soon becomes clear heï¿½s not going to be paid. Samuel Pepys is able to help him in another way though getting him to deliver a letter confirming the fate of Will Farriner. Thomas leaves his daughter Hannah in charge and heads to his sister-in-law with a heavy heart. After he returns home he find the bakery on fire and his two daughters asleep upstairs.
