It's 1985 Dallas, Texas in the heart of local rodeo country. Upon being electrocuted on the job, Ron Woodruff (Matthew McConaughey) awakens in the hospital to the news of him having contracted the HIV disease. After hearing of his thirty day life expectancy, Ron begins to find ways to procure the AZT drug, but when once his supply is up, Woodruff ventures to Mexico, where a non-licensed physician prescribes him non FDA approved drugs. With these drugs, Ron starts up the Dallas Buyers Club, where there is no fee for the medicine but there's a four hundred dollar monthly fee.

It is beautifully written, photographed and directed. The acting is strong on all fronts -- Children adults and ghosts respectively!$

It transpires that Control believed one of four senior figures in the service was in fact a Russian agent - a mole - and the Hungary operation was an attempt to identify which of them it was. Smiley had been forced into retirement by the departure of Control, but is asked by a senior government figure to investigate a story told to him by a rogue agent, Ricky Tarr, that there was a mole. Smiley considers that the failure of the Hungary operation and the continuing success of Operation Witchcraft (an apparent source of significant Soviet intelligence) confirms this, and takes up the task of finding him. Through the efforts of Peter Guillam, Smiley obtains information that eventually leads him to Jim Prideaux, the agent at the heart of the Hungary fiasco. He is then able to put together the pieces of the puzzle, which lead him to the identity of the mole and the true intent of Operation Witchcraft. Review: Tomas Alfredson\'s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is one of the best British films for a long time and perhaps my film of the year. There is not much I can criticise about the film, the plot, adapted from the best-selling novel by John Le Carre, is top-notch; Alfredson\'s direction captures the Cold War perfectly and there is certainly nothing to criticise about its performances. This film has some of the best British actors working today, with Gary Oldman leading as George Smiley, an experienced spy with a troubled past, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy as operatives caught up in the hunt for a Russian mole, who could be a number of high-ranking men in MI6, including Colin Firth and Toby Jones and, as John Hurt\'s Control may suspect, Smiley himself. I recommend this film not only to people who enjoy espionage/ cold war thrillers but anyone who appreciates film in its excellence and a showcase of Oscar-worthy performances.$

The Girl with the Dr

He is aided by the pierced, tattooed, punk computer hacker named Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). As they work together in the investigation, Blomkvist and Salander uncover immense corruption beyond anything they have ever imagined. Review: David Fincher, known for his intensely gloomy films; directs the American adaptation of Stieg Larsson\'s book. Having not read the book or having seen the Swedish film I wasn\'t entirely sure what was coming, but held high expectations because of the cast and director. With established greats like Christopher Plummer and Stellan Skarsgård acting was bound to be good, however, Rooney Mara is the one who steals the show. Rooney plays the role of Lisbeth Salander, an anti-social hacker with a hate for men who abuse women. She helps Mikael Blomkvist research the Vanger family history in hopes to reveal which family member was responsible for the disappearance of another 40 years earlier. The film has a great flow to it and kept my full interest throughout. Everything about the film was flawless. The score, cinematography, direction, acting were all brilliant, but nothing comes close to Rooney Mara\'s breakthrough performance. Rooney Mara\'s portrayal of Lisbeth is one that can\'t be missed and one you won\'t forget. She has now proved herself as an elite actress. With Fincher\'s magic and Mara\'s acting this is easily the year\'s best film.$

Young Adult (2011)

$Watch Young Adult Gomovies123-Soon after her divorce, a fiction writer returns to her home in small-town Minnesota, looking to rekindle a romance with her ex-boyfriend, who is now married with kids. Review: Growing old can be tough for a lot of people. This film gives an intriguing examination of this fact and incorporates it into a fine story. In one of the best films of 2011, Charlize Theron generates well-deserved Oscar Buzz for her believable performance as Mavis Gary, a tween-novel writer who comes to terms with her adulthood. I also must compliment the performance of Patton Oswalt, an underrated actor who succeeds as a disabled man who befriends Mavis. This film\'s story could have turned out to be another dreadful romantic comedy, but its execution makes it truly special. Every scene is shot with subtlety and finesse to show off the well-blended comedic and dramatic aspects. As you look at the style of directing, you will notice the true talent of Jason Reitman (along with the script-writing genius of Diablo Cody). After seeing this, I am quite interested in checking out Juno. Hopefully, it will be as good as this selection of cinematic gold.$

Review: This movie is much better than its rating indicates. Give this movie a chance if you are interested in Sci-Fi movies. The acting isn\'t great, but who goes to this type of movie looking for Oscar-worthy performances? The special effects are actually pretty good. There are several plot twists that are unexpected, also. It starts off a little slowly, but once it gets going it moves along at a very quick pace. For some reason this movie is receiving some bad reviews on IMDb. Go ahead and give this movie a chance, I don\'t think you\'ll be disappointed. Overall, not a bad way to spend an hour and a half. Better than its receiving credit for.$

Sherlock Holmes: A G

$Watch Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Gomovies123-Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey, Jr.) and his longtime trusted associate, Doctor Watson (Jude Law), take on their arch-nemesis, Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris), with the help of Holmes\'s older brother Mycroft Holmes (Stephen Fry) and a gypsy named Sim (Noomi Rapace). Review: This movie was absolutely fantastic. I have been waiting for it for what feels like forever now and it truly did not disappoint. The storyline was clever, the dynamic between Watson and Holmes was charming and beautiful, and the effects were incredible. Honestly, as much of a fan I am of the first movie, its sequel surpassed it and my overall expectation. Some the effects were unnecessary at times, but I really enjoy the style in which these movies are edited. It can be slightly confusing periodically, another reason to rewatch, still pay attention closely. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr.\'s chemistry was compelling and the supporting actors were on par. I laughed, I nearly screamed, and I even cried. Game of Shadows is gripping, exciting, hilarious,and even draws tears. You\'ll be cheering throughout and satisfied with the end. Too be honest, it is absolutely one of the best movies of this year.$

The Sitter (2011)

$Watch The Sitter Gomovies123-A comedy about a college student on suspension who is coaxed into babysitting the kids next door, though he is fully unprepared for the wild night ahead of him. Review: Hilarious from start to finish, The Sitter injected a much-needed R-rated comedy boost to the draggy awards season of December. Jonah Hill delivers another funny performance, but the real surprise for me was the shocking pro-gay message featuring one of the first kid-related gay story lines in a mainstream film. Max Records, the awesomely talented kid from Where the Wild Things Are, has no problem with the content and easily delivers a calculated performance. I guess I was so surprised because gay content is rarely dealt with so carefully in a Hollywood film marketed toward young adults, and I have to say I was really impressed. The kids make the movie all the better, and each of them is given a relatively well-developed backstory. The movie never sputters out, running at a perfect pace and hitting all the right punches. Even Sam Rockwell is awesome as a crazy could-be-gay drug dealer who chases the sitter and the children all across town. The Sitter is a movie I\'d easily recommend and another fun treat from director David Gordon Green.$

$Watch New Year's Eve Gomovies123-The lives of several couples and singles in New York intertwine over the course of New Year\'s Eve. Review: New Years Eve was the perfect feel good movie. It has everything from romance to heartbreak. With the all star cast you can\'t help but have high expectations and mine were met. Lea\'s singing was amazing as was Bon Jovi\'s and I could not help but giggle when Zac and Michelle were cast together and share a kiss as all i could think of was them in Hairspray. This movie shows us the good and the bad of everyday life. It shows the hope that people should and do hold onto and that you should look forward and embrace the new year not think of all the bad that has happened in the present year. Hector\'s role in this movie was awesome and such a fantastic way to make the audience laugh as was the baby having competition between the two couples. This movie is full of clichés and cheesiness however it is exactly that which will charm the audience and make you come out of the cinema with a smile and perhaps a few ideas of what you will do for you new years.$

Mission: Impossible

$Watch Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Gomovies123-The IMF is shut down when it\'s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization\'s name. Review: I think Ghost Protocol is the best Mission Impossible of the lot. It grips you from beginning to end with high octane fuel filled action. The acting was great and is really quite funny at times especially with \'Sean of the Dead\' Star Simon Pegg. The Scenes on the side of the tallest building in the world are breath taking and keep you on the edge of your seat. Put your reservations of Tom Cruise aside, he did really well in this action packed movie. The only flaw I noticed was, where were the people as Ethan Hunt scaled the side of the glass walled building, surely someone would have noticed? This is one movie in a series that has got better as they progress and not worse.$

Review: If you are a fan of the inbetweeners series, this movie will not disappoint you, it\'s \'brilliant\'. Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison and Joe Thomas are the four cheeky teenage actors in this film. Simon Bird who plays the character of \'Will\' begins the film with narrating about his life so far and talks to his dad about going on holiday with his three best friends, Simon, Neil, and of course, Jay. The four boys end up going on holiday and let\'s just say, have an adventurous time. Personally, i think this is one of the most hilarious films i have ever seen. I\'ve watched every episode of the inbetweeners TV series, and couldn\'t wait until the film was released. I laughed the whole way through this film, i was quite nervous about it not being as good as i was expecting, but it didn\'t disappoint me. This is probably the best film i\'ve seen, i went to see it twice at the cinema, it was that good. The whole audience were in stitches, from the beginning of the film, until the end. It was good to see other people enjoying it and laughing along. As the movie was the \'end\' to the Inbetweeners, it really couldn\'t of been any better. The same characters were used, and the storyline was well thought out. I\'ll miss the comedy and the characters of this series; hopefully in years to come, they\'ll be a second film. I give this movie a thumbs up. 10/10.$
